Daytona Beach July Activity Guide 2021
By Austyn O’Dwyer

If you can brave the mid-summer heat, Daytona Beach is brimming with activities for visitors and locals throughout the month of July. With plenty of unique, family-oriented events, July is, perhaps, the best time to be passing through Daytona and its surrounding areas. In this article, we will recap the best ways to spend your days whether you’re staying just for the 4th, or relaxing in the sunshine straight through to August.
Daytona Speedway Campground is a great access point for all of the listed events – the proximity to the bustle of Daytona allows for easy day trips while offering seclusion from the noise and crowds when needed. For information on site bookings, visit the Daytona Speedway Campground.
4th of July Veterans Parade on Main Street
July 4th

Main street is usually where the action happens in Daytona Beach, and this weekend’s long holiday is no exception. The Marine Corps League of Daytona Beach is hosting its first annual Veterans 4th of July Parade on the historic Main Street Downtown.
Kicking off at 1PM on Sunday, the parade will begin at North Ocean Avenue and Main Street, heading West to the Main Street Bridge. Vendors, food trucks, fireworks, and drink specials are situated along the parade route, and a multitude of bars and restaurants offer a reprieve from the sun close by.
Since Main Street tends to get busy quickly, try to arrive early with your family in order to secure a comfortable spot to watch the parade. For more information about this event including a list of vendors and sponsors, visit the Stay Happening website.

Mustangs at Daytona (MAD) 2021
July 12th – July 17th

Destination Daytona knows how to treat Mustang enthusiasts: they’re giving these classic car owners full rein over the expansive complex for an entire week! Fans and owners of Mustangs can meet one another, purchase vehicles both new and classic, and, of course, view the plethora of Mustangs that will be on display throughout the week.
Destination Daytona has long been the hub for Harley Davidson and all things motorcycle, but, in a few weeks, cars will be at the centerpiece. Take advantage of this rare opportunity, and plan a trip out to the sprawling venue any time from July 12th to July 17th. In addition to the Mustang event, Destination Daytona contains a multitude of shops, mechanics, restaurants, and bars – it’s definitely worth spending an entire day exploring.
If you or a friend are interested in registering for passes or would like to display a car, registration is simple and inexpensive: albeit limited; so hurry before the proverbial stampede of Mustangs rolls into town.

For a full list of all of the events happening in July, be sure to visit the event page on the Daytona Beach website.
Some highlights: the Daytona Tortugas continue their summer Minor League series at famous Jackie Robinson Park; the Streamline Hotel offers nightly live music and libations; the famous Casements House offers daily tours of the grounds.
Daytona Speedway RV is situated in a close but secluded area of Daytona, offering the perfect proximity to all of the listed events and more.
